Aperitivo Hour with Lifestyle Asia

March 13, 2026

The sun set over the Manila skyline as we hosted our very first Aperitivo Hour with Lifestyle Asia. As summer approaches, we found ourselves drawn to the European ritual of slowing down after workdrinks, food, good company. We wanted to bring that feeling to the Manila scene.

The theme centered on Women's Month, and it felt only right that our first aperitivo be hosted alongside Kerry Tinga, Lifestyle Asia's Editor-in-Chief. We love working with Kerry, she was the natural choice to pilot what we hope becomes a series of events hosted by Sunday Street. The evening evolved into a full collaboration with LA, celebrating their March cover girl, Martina Lebron. The mood board leaned into the feminine and boldflorals, rich colours, and a relaxed but thoughtfully considered energy that carried through to the food.

We had an 11am ingress for a 6pm event—plenty of time to get everything just right. We're used to a long day and we love what we do! Kicked off service with a cute team pic, of course!

Behind every FAB spread, there's this group of ladies—Des on FOH, Bianca our Kitchen Supervisor, and Managing Partners Tara, Iyay, Jovy, and Mica. (L-R)

Front and center: Nomad Caviar on the table, what a treat!

Carol of Nomad Caviar came over to join us too!

We took this opportunity to launch our new Nomad Caviar add-on. Clients can now add a tin of caviar to any booking, which our kitchen team will weave into your menu. Think dishes like seafood rolls, lemon cream capellini, chicken nuggies (a personal favourite of ours), and chocolate mousse tartlets—all the perfect canvas for a little something luxurious on top.

Our signature "Chicken Nuggies"—developed by the one and only Bianca, our kitchen supervisor, who put this dish through multiple rounds of testing. Many iterations were made, many were eaten, and absolutely no one had any complaints.

A dish that dresses the part—our pink hummus cups doing what they do best.

The intent was to present caviar as something fun and easily enjoyed in any setting and the menu delivered on that. Rather than the expected caviar-and-champagne pairing, we went with natural wines sourced from our friends at SuperNatural Wine. They picked a beautiful chardonnay to pair with our bites, La Combe Rotalier NV, A Jura natural bubbly from Jean-François Ganevat—unripe Chardonnay, citrusy and bright, aged 5 years total between oak and bottle. Made for exactly the kind of spread we put together.

The Tiramisu Trolley made its debut at this event—we wheeled in a giant slab tableside and plated it live for guests. We source our cold brew exclusively from Type-A Coffee, and it makes all the difference. We love a good surprise!

We also put together goblet towers assembled with our charcuterie picks: gherkins, mortadella, green olives, manchego, and katmon jelly so guests could grab a goblet and continue to mingle freely. Effortless to eat, intentional in curation. Clients can add-on this feature too!

On the florals: our friends from Lanai styled the space with big, bold arrangements in shades of pink, red, green, and violet. For the buffet tables, they created smaller arrangements tucked around the bites and drinks—the kind of small detail that goes a very long way. Clients looking for more extensive floral styling can now book Lanai as part of their SSC event package.

See you at the next Aperitivo Hour!
